Carson City Thanks Congressman Mark Amodei
Carson City, NV – Carson City is incredibly grateful for Congressman Amodei’s efforts to ensure that the City’s Community Project Funding request for the Appion Way Improvement Project was included in the U.S. House of Representatives Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee’s Fiscal Year 2023 appropriations bill. “Congressman Amodei has always been a champion for Carson City and Nevada as a whole. We are appreciative of his advocacy on behalf of all of our residents.” said Mayor Lori Bagwell.
The transportation infrastructure upgrades included in the City’s Community Project Funding request will continue the economic development in the South Carson St. corridor. The Appion Way Improvement Project will help residents and visitors travel more efficiently and safely in this part of Carson City that hosts many exciting opportunities for economic growth.
Carson City is thankful for Congressman Amodei’s tireless work to advance this request past a crucial stage in the legislative process and appreciates the House Committee on Appropriations’ continued development of this year’s federal appropriations bill.
